Vietimme muutaman huhtikuun ensimmäisen päivän Barcelonassa. Kevät oli siellä jo pitkällä. Kukat kukkivat, puiden lehdet silmuilla tai jo hennon vaalean vihreiden lehtien peitossa.
We spent the first few days of April in Barcelona. Spring was well under way and flowers were in bloom and the trees had the amazing light shade of green on them.
Vaaleanpunaisten kukkien peitossa olevat puut ovat sitten kauniita!
The trees covered in pink just look so wonderful!
Lovely colours and shapes and in the pictures below, two of my favourites, Lily of the Nile (a white version) and lavender.
Ja vielä muuta asia, joita voisin ottaa omaankin puutarhaan: "pikkuinen" vesiaihe ja sen takana kulkeva lehtipuu kuja, takorautainen koristeellinen huvimaja tai vastaava, sekä tällainen "käpy". Ja tietenkin appelssiinipuu!
A few more things I would not mind having in my yard: a water feature and the treelined lane behind it, a wrought iron gazebo (or any other excuse to have wrought iron) and the pine cone shaped statues all over. And an orange tree obviously!
