Huimasta tuulesta huolimatta päätin ulkoiluttaa Kevätmessuostoksia ja siirtää ne viimein kunnon astioihin. Ja sitä ennen piti tietenkin nauttia kevään ensimmäiset terassikahvit! Samalla kävin viimein kevätkylvojen kimppuun, niidenkin osalta on kevät ollut kovasti myöhässä, mutta alku on hoideltu.
I decided to ignore the wind and take the new plants enjoy some sun and plant them into their new homes. Before it I of course had to have the first coffee out on the deck this spring.
Pikainen vahinkojen tarkistus paljasti odotettuja ja odottamattomia vahinkoja: joo, ne hiton puput on taas olleet omenapuun kimpussa. Mutta niin on joku muukin, ellei puput ole päässeet maan alle syömään juuretkin. Tai se on ainut syy, jonka keksin, miksi tuo puo oli kallistunut pahasti ja kun tuota tönii takaisin pystyyn, kaatuu toiseen suuntaan. Grrrrrr! Ne hiton myyrät, jotka söi kaikki perunat viime vuonna on nyt siis pidetty talvenkin ajan hengissä!
A quick tour around the garden revealed some expected and unexpected damages: yes, the bunnies had been hard at work at the apple tree again, but someone else also... as I don't think the bunnies would have eaten the roots also! Or at least that's the only explanation I can think of why the tree has tilted badly and pushing it back up only results it tilting to the other side. Grrrrrr! I guess they're the same buggers as ate the potatoes last summer.

Luckily the rhubarb crumble is well on the way.
Ja jotain muutakin on nousemassa, aika sekaisessa järjestyksessä kylläkin ;)
And some flowers are appearing also.
Ja ehkä syreenikin jo kohta vihertää!
And maybe the lilac trees will turn green soon!
